We are proud to partner with Richmond County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Richmond, a program that aims to shape professionals into strong local leaders. Throughout the year, participants are exposed to all the different facets of the Richmond County economy including agriculture, industry, healthcare, government and education. Participants gain confidence, knowledge, professionalism and strong leadership skills they can bring back to their place of employment.
Vulcan Materials Company has participated in the program for the past 3 years, offering tours of our Rockingham Quarry. Our team recently hosted 15 Leadership Richmond participants at our facility as a part of the program’s industry day. The visit was an opportunity for the local leaders to see our facility, meet our team and gain a better understanding of who we are as a company. They learned about our operations and how our products are used in their daily lives.
